📘 Theory
A half-wave dipole radiates most strongly broadside (perpendicular to the wire) and not at all along its axis. Its pattern is a doughnut with directivity 1.64 (2.15 dBi) and a 78° half-power beamwidth.
E(θ) ∝ cos(π/2·cos θ)/sin θ · D = 1.64 (2.15 dBi)

📝 Procedure
🎤 Viva questions
Why is there no radiation along the wire
Current along the axis produces no field in that direction.
How long is a half-wave dipole at 100 MHz
About 1.5 m (slightly less in practice).
🛡️ Safety
Virtual lab. With real RF equipment, respect exposure limits, never transmit without a licence, and keep antennas away from people.
