Series RLC band-pass resonance
Aim: Find the resonant frequency, bandwidth and Q of a band-pass RLC circuit.

📘 Theory
At resonance the inductive and capacitive reactances cancel, so the output across R peaks at f₀ = 1/(2π√LC). The bandwidth between the −3 dB points is R/(2πL) and the quality factor is Q = f₀/BW.
f₀ = 1/(2π√(LC)) · BW = R/(2πL) · Q = (1/R)√(L/C)

📝 Procedure
🎤 Viva questions
Why is a radio tuner a resonant circuit
It passes one station’s frequency and rejects others.
What does a high Q mean
A narrow, sharp peak: very selective.
🛡️ Safety
Virtual lab at safe low voltages. On a real bench: switch off before rewiring, check capacitor polarity, and never touch mains wiring without supervision.
