Calculus: Limits
A limit is the value a function approaches as x gets close to a point.
Calculus: Limits📐 Formula
lim (x → 0) sin x / x = 1
✏️ Worked example
x = 0.5: sin(0.5)/0.5 ≈ 0.959; at x = 0.05 it is ≈ 0.9996.
🌍 Where it is used
Defines speed at an instant and the foundation of calculus.
❓ Quick check
