MCP Server with Typed Tools & Audit
Add a tool to the mock MCP server, describe it with a schema and see every call written to the audit log.
🎯 You will learn to
- Describe tools with JSON Schema
- Keep tools scoped
- Audit calls
🧪 Live environment
Runs entirely in your browser: nothing is installed, no real cloud account is used and your code is never sent to our server.

✅ Steps & checkpoints
🗺️ Adding an audited tool
A new tool is registered with a schema; every call is checked and written to an append-only audit log.
The 2D diagram shows the exact flow, ports and trust boundaries. The 3D scene is a concept view of the same parts; packets travel along the same arrows.
🤔 Think about it
What should never be returned by a tool to the model?
🛡️ Safety & cost
The agents are deterministic simulations: no model is called and no real tool is executed. Write tools always need human approval.
🧹 Cleanup
Nothing to clean up.
