AKS Deployment, Ingress & Autoscaling
Deploy to a mock AKS cluster with readiness probes, an ingress and an autoscaler that reacts to load.
🎯 You will learn to
- Use readiness and liveness probes
- Route with ingress
- Autoscale on CPU
🧪 Live environment
Runs entirely in your browser: nothing is installed, no real cloud account is used and your code is never sent to our server.

✅ Steps & checkpoints
🗺️ AKS ingress and autoscaling
Ingress routes traffic to ready pods; the autoscaler adds pods when CPU passes the target.
The 2D diagram shows the exact flow, ports and trust boundaries. The 3D scene is a concept view of the same parts; packets travel along the same arrows.
🤔 Think about it
Why should readiness fail before a pod is ready?
🛡️ Safety & cost
Mock mode by default. Real Azure practice is opt-in: use your own subscription, a budget alert and the cleanup steps.
🧹 Cleanup
Delete the lab resource group (az group delete) and check Cost Management the next day.
