Argo CD Reconciliation & Drift
Promote an app from dev to prod with Git commits, then fix drift and roll back a bad release.
🎯 You will learn to
- Promote through environments
- Reconcile drift
- Roll back with Git
🧪 Live environment
Runs entirely in your browser: nothing is installed, no real cloud account is used and your code is never sent to our server.

✅ Steps & checkpoints
🗺️ Promotion through environments
A commit to the dev overlay deploys dev; a pull request copies the version to prod; a revert rolls back.
The 2D diagram shows the exact flow, ports and trust boundaries. The 3D scene is a concept view of the same parts; packets travel along the same arrows.
🤔 Think about it
Why is a Git revert a safe rollback?
🛡️ Safety & cost
Pipelines run in a simulator. No repository or cluster is changed.
🧹 Cleanup
Nothing to clean up.
