🛠️ Set up and verify
- Install
install Android Studio or IntelliJ IDEA (Kotlin is built in)
brew install kotlin
sdk install kotlin (using SDKMAN!)
- Editor: Visual Studio Code with Kotlin (IntelliJ IDEA / Android Studio).
- Create
hello.ktfun main() { println("Hello, GayaGnan!") } - Run it and check the version
kotlinc hello.kt -include-runtime -d hello.jar && java -jar hello.jar kotlinc -version
- Health check: paste what your terminal printed.
Install one language at a time. These commands only install or print versions; nothing here deletes files. Versions change: check the official page and note the version you installed.
