🎯 Learning outcomes
- Do simple tasks at home and school: tidying, sorting, watering plants
- Work together and share responsibilities
- Thank and respect people who help us
Before you start: Following instructions.
📖 Explanation
Everyone can help at home and school. Children can fold clothes, arrange shoes, set plates, put toys away, water plants and keep their desks clean.
Sharing tasks makes work easier and fun: one child wipes the board, another arranges books, another waters the plants. A class chart can show whose turn it is.
Many people help our community: cooks, cleaners, drivers, guards, postal workers. We thank them and keep our surroundings clean to make their work easier.
In many Indian schools, children take turns as 'class monitors' for cleanliness, books and plants each week.
✗ Housework is only for mothers or helpers
✓ Everyone in a family can share household tasks, including children.
