📖 Explanation
Parts of speech in Hindi: संज्ञा, सर्वनाम, विशेषण, क्रिया; in Telugu: నామవాచకం, సర్వనామం, విశేషణం, క్రియ. Nouns have types: proper (नाम), common and abstract (ईमानदारी / నిజాయితీ).
Tenses: Hindi 'मैं खाता हूँ / खाया / खाऊँगा'; Telugu 'నేను తింటాను / తిన్నాను'. Verbs agree with the subject's gender and number in Hindi and with person in Telugu.
Hindi uses postpositions (कारक चिह्न) such as ने, को, से, में, पर; Telugu uses case suffixes (విభక్తులు) such as -ని, -కు, -లో, -తో. Punctuation includes the comma, question mark and quotation marks.
Hindi: 'सीता ने राम को पत्र लिखा।' (ने marks the doer in the past, को marks the receiver). Telugu: 'సీత రాముకు ఉత్తరం రాసింది.'
✗ Postpositions and case suffixes can be dropped without changing meaning
✓ They show who does what to whom; dropping them can change or confuse meaning.
