📖 Explanation
Conjunct letters join consonants: Hindi क्ष, त्र, ज्ञ, and half-letters as in 'प्यार', 'स्कूल'; the halant (्) removes the inherent 'a' sound. Telugu uses ఒత్తులు (subscript forms): 'అమ్మ', 'పద్యం', 'స్నేహం'.
Special marks: anusvara (ं / ం) for nasal sounds as in 'गंगा' / 'గంగ', visarga (ः / ః).
Neat handwriting uses uniform size, correct joins and spaces between words; Hindi words keep the shirorekha unbroken within a word.
Hindi: 'विद्यालय' (school) has the conjunct द्य. Telugu: 'విద్యాలయం' has ద్య, written with an ఒత్తు.
