📖 Explanation
Literature includes stories (कहानी / కథ), poems (कविता / కవిత, పద్యం), plays, and folk forms like Burrakatha in Telugu or Ramlila in the Hindi belt.
Famous writers: Hindi — Premchand (stories of village life), Subhadra Kumari Chauhan (patriotic poems); Telugu — Vemana (short moral verses), Gurajada Apparao (social reform), Gidugu Ramamurthy (simple spoken Telugu in writing).
Reading for theme and moral, and noticing rhyme and rhythm, builds appreciation.
🇮🇳 Example from India
Vemana's verses end with the refrain 'విశ్వదాభిరామ వినురవేమ' and teach practical wisdom in just four lines.
⚠️ Common mistake
