Slope of a line
The slope (gradient) of a line is rise over run: how much y changes for each unit increase in x.
Δy/ΔxSlope of a line
📐 Formula
m = (y₂ − y₁)/(x₂ − x₁)
✏️ Worked example
(−1, −3) to (2, 3): m = 6/3 = 2.
🌍 Where it is used
Road gradients, ramps, rates of change.
