3 📖 Explain

Domestic animals live with people and help them: cows give milk, dogs guard homes, bullocks pull carts. Wild animals like tigers, elephants and deer live in forests.

Birds have feathers and most can fly; they build nests. Every animal needs the right home, food and water. Protecting forests, rivers and trees protects animals too.

🇮🇳 Example from India

Kaziranga in Assam protects one-horned rhinos, and Gir in Gujarat is home to Asiatic lions.

⚠️ Common mistake

✗ All birds can fly.
✓ Most birds fly, but some, like the ostrich and the penguin, cannot.
