🤸 Movement and coordination
…
3 📖 Explain
Movement skills include running, jumping, hopping, skipping, throwing, catching and balancing. Coordination means making different body parts work together, like eyes and hands when you catch a ball.
Warm up before playing and cool down after. Practising a little every day makes movements smooth and strong.
In lagori (seven stones), children throw a ball to knock the stones, run, dodge and rebuild the pile: throwing, running and balancing together.
✗ Only sportspeople need movement skills.
✓ Everyone uses them every day: climbing stairs, carrying bags and playing.
