3 📖 Explain
Weather is what the sky and air are like today: sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy or cold. It can change from day to day.
A season is the usual weather for a few months. Most of India has summer (hot), the monsoon (rainy) and winter (cold). We change our clothes, food and activities with the seasons.
In summer we drink buttermilk and wear cotton; in the monsoon farmers sow paddy and we carry umbrellas; in winter we wear sweaters and enjoy festivals like Sankranti.
✗ Weather and season mean the same thing.
✓ Weather is about one day; a season is the usual weather over a few months.
